I know that I was on acid reflux prescription medication for a few years. I stumbled upon acai berry by accident about 6 months ago. Being 50 and many changes going on in my body I figured I needed to try whatever I oould. It has helped me completely get off of my medication. I every once in awhile have to take something over the counter but nothing like before. My reflux was so bad that I have been to the hospital in the middle of the night and have had developed pneumonia from inhaling the acid when i refluxed. All i know is that it has been wonderful for me. Okay…this is what i know. I know that I was on acid reflux prescription medication for a few years. But, like any supplement, time and testing are required for everyone, and everyone is different. It may require an adjustment period and a tweak of any reflux medication to find a suitable dose. I do have to laugh, however, when I read all the claims about acai and how it's supposedly able to cure everything from cancer to bad breath. LOL. Mine was under control until I started using acai.
