This is just one more crappy product made purely to trick people with the “Fake News” scams. The site in question is www.news5reports.com, but there are – surprise surprise – plenty of others around that seem to be following the same predictable pattern. Not only is this a complete and utter scam but, to add insult to injury, the acai product itself is weak.

The problem here is that Acai Complete 6 is an inferior heat dried extract; heat drying takes away a lot more of the goodness than does freeze drying, and you should always opt for the latter whenever you have the option. Of course freeze drying is more expensive for the producers than heat drying, which is why you see so many cheap, crappy products using it.

The sites on the graphic below have all been found to be using the same fake news scam as Acai Complete 6 and www.news5reports.com. The basic M.O. is this: they all use the VERY SAME fake news site, change the name, change the product, and change the ‘reporter’ that is fronting the site. In this case the reporter’s name is ‘Julia’, but if you look around you’ll see that ‘Julia’ takes many different forms, and appears to have a whole bunch of different name.

The site’s main selling focus is for a ‘Free Trial’ product. You take the free trial acai berry and pay just shipping and handling; unfortunately you have to sign up to an ongoing subscription to be able to take advantage of the free trial. The subscription is almost impossible to cancel and can run up to $100 per month.

Of course the news site IS NOT a legitimate news outlet. Julia does not exist. DO NOT FALL for this blatant scam. Check our Acai Berry Scams page for some more information.
