Acai Max Cleanse is yet another crappy product that is being pushed with the Fake “News Site” scams. So far, the site that is being advertised the most is www.news6reports.co.uk, but others are springing up as well. Like others, this is NOT a freeze dried acai, but a heat dried extract, mixed with some other ingredients.
The sites listed below all use the same fake news site scam and just switch out the fake reporters name and the news station they supposedly work for. In this case, the fake reporter is Jane Clark. None of them exist anywhere but on these scam websites. Their sole purpose is to push a “free trial” of acai berry. Unfortunately, these free trials also trick the visitor into signing up for a subscription which charges the victim $80 or more a month!

ROBBED!!! Do NOT deal with these people or buy Acai Max Cleanse! I am out $87.47 for a product I never received and another $10.12 in “International charges” to my account. The company claimed I called and cancelled the order and could not refund my money EVEN THOUGH I NEVER RECEIVED THE PRODUCT! They had no tracking number or proof of shipment and STILL REFUSED TO REFUND MY MONEY! I even said I would settle for the bottle I paid for—answer NO! Through investigating with my bank they are operating ouside of the USA and have several alias web addresses. I immediately cancelled my card and filed an affidavit with the bank. It seems hopeful they will return my money. I also filed a complaint with the BBB.
Total Scam!!!! They sent me my first bottle but the second month I was charged $87 plus for a bottle I never received. When I called them just a few days ago to inquire about my shipment they kept telling me my order shipped but the five people I spoke with could not give me a ship date. I then asked for a credit and of course they would not issue a credit. They were going to check with the shipping department and get back with me. Then I asked to have my account canceled and I requested a cancellation number. They would not give me a number but instead sent me an email that was suppose to have a form I was suppose to fill out and send back in to cancel. The next day when I checked my CC statement online I had ANOTHER $87 charge pending!!!! I was so irate!!! I also checked my email and did get they email they said they would send but there was no link to a form to fill out. They email stated that if I tried to charge them back for product they didn’t even send they would try to ruin my “internet credit” by putting my name on some database. Needless to say I was so pissed!!! I called them again and told them they were going to take off the charge pending and they had better cancel my account!!! I called the bank the first day and disputed the charges from June and now I had to call again and dispute the pending charges. Cancel your card number before you call them if this happens to you!!! Otherwise they are going after more money before you can get off the phone with them. I wish the Kathy Lee and Hoda show would do an investigation of this company and expose them for the fraud that they are.
BAD! BAD! BAD!
I received a manilla envelope with nothing in it. When I called I could here myself talking and was told she would contact there shiping dept. She kept saying now have satisfied your question? I was like are you sending the product and she would just repeat herself. I called 2 days later and no-one had record of my previuos call. I am calling the bank NOW!!!!!!!!! I wish I could get my hands on these people!!!
Yes this is a SCAM, when you call to cancel they will tell you that they have no record of your account, they will then proceed to charge your account WELL Before the trial period is over and you are screwed. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!! THEY ARE BAD.
hiya, i just wanted to know if the acai max cleanse product has any gelatin or pork product in its ingredients(either the capsule or otherwise)?
hana ali – WHY would you even consider trying one of the “free trials”? They use CRAPPY product because they know you won’t be happy, but will rip you off for hundreds of dollars.
Read more about it on this page
i should’ve done more research before oordering the trial. now i dont know how to cancel it! the number given on the site does NOT work! help!!
I too, ordered this product. I did finally get through to a guy named “John” who had a foreign accent. It did take me a couple of calls to get trough and I could hear myself talking, as the connection was so poor. He did send me a website to cancel. The phone number I called was 1-888-787-9668 – be sure to have your order number. The form they send you to cancel, you must put everything in lower case. I’m thinking about cancelling my card also just to be sure. I hope this helps!
I had the same problem – no way to cancel and stop the money withdrawals for the scam product. There is a very easy, although slightly disrupting, solution: cancel your credit card.
I phoned my bank and told them the situation and they told me to cancel the credit card so that no further withdrawals could take place. With the transcription description (from the initial p/h fee) they identified the more recent large money withdrawal and said that they would dispute the +AU$100 fee and get my money back.
why are not able to get free samples? I live in Boca where the Johnson lady lives but can not obtain samples. Z
