“FREE TRIAL OFFERS” ARE NOT FREE!
They will charge your credit card $80 or more, sometimes within days of ordering, and often before you even receive the “free trial”. This is 4 times more than quality freeze-dried acai berry costs. AND, they send you crappy product which cost about 1/2 as much to produce.
YOU WILL BE SIGNED UP FOR A MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION
They say they just charge you for shipping. In reality, once they get your credit card number they will charge you. You don’t realize they have signed you up for a subscription because they bury it in the fine print in their terms and conditions.
YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO STOP THE CHARGES
There will either be noone to contact, or, when you call their customer service number to get return authorization you are put on hold and shuffled between different people until you give up. Don’t believe me? Before you purchase, call or email them and ask them to please stop sending the product. You will get the runaround.
IF THEY ARE OFFERING A FREE TRIAL, IT IS A SCAM – EVERY SINGLE ONE !
None of them make it clear you are signing a subscription, and we have not yet found one that makes it easy to cancel the subscription.

Don’t give up people an dodn’t just accept a cencellation of your subscription. I also stupidly fell for this scam. After a 20 minute phonecall to customer services in the USA I still got nowhere. I was told over and over again that T&C’s states I would be signed up however I received no T&Cs and also no tablets !!! I was furious. I wrote a very very very strongly worded email to customer service:

I told them I was taking legal action and that I was also referring my case to The Office of Fair Trade for investiagyion under the Consumer Rights Act……….. Hey presto, within 5 days I had a very apolgetic email and a refund of the whole amount they had taken from my account, and my subscription was cancelled with no further cost !!!

I’ve got the delivery note saying Lean Slim & Lean Cleanse were dispatched from Colossal in County Durham but I can’t find a number. Has anyone else in the UK had the same and do you have a number so I can call and cancel?

I’ve managed to cancel my subscription by calling the following number 0808 16 83674. They confirmed the cancellation and gave me a reference number. It’s a freephone number I believe.
I have just opened by credit card statement and found I have been charged £235 this month by ProAction Acai. I ordered in October two products which cost £4.95 each. I was sent more products this week and thought they must be free samples! I phoned my bank and they said I have to phone the company to cancel further orders,which I have by answerphone, and they sent me email to confirm cancellation, but I will phone Monday when they are open. My credit card company said that when ordering such websites have an already ticked option which says you are subscribing to monthly supplies, and people should untick that box. They said its not fraud. Credit card co said 9 times out of 10 people get their money back, and return product, but I have to try and resolve myself and if can’t Bank will deal with complaint.

I cancelled my subscription by calling 0808 16 83674 (It’s a free phone number)- You just have to give them your Surname and they should be able to cancel your subscription. I called them on Monday at 1 and after around 5 minutes got through (thank goodness). You may have to return your items to the States which has been a problem for some so I’m just keeping mine and paying the £20 for each bottle because it meant that my subscription was cancelled straight away. well what an idiot i am,saw a fantastic free trial offer for perfect radiance and revita derm anti-wrinkle products just pay £3.95 each p&p.no t’s&c’s on web page and thought yeah i will give that a go and then saw another for lean slim and lean cleanse,same offer just pay p&p,again no t’s&cs.ordered all 4 items and this morning i found a £79.99 charge on my credit card for anti-winkle company.got on to cap one cc straight away.I was lucky because i had an email off this company with an actual telephone number so cap one manager phoned them and has hopefully got the £79.99 refunded to my account and further transactions stopped.now just have to deal with second company(lean slim)i have never had an email off them so no telephone number but i have a british return address so hopeful that i can put a stop to this one too,wish me luck!!!!

At the moment all I’m getting is a recorded message saying to try after the holidays, which makes sense if they are celebrating Thanksgiving, so wish me luck for a successful cancellation on Monday

MBNA said they have lots of calls from women regarding this company. So, I am going to speak to Which about them, see if they can do anything. Stupid me, I thought free trial meant just that!! Worst thing is it didn’t do anything!
got it cancelled it call 1-866-942-5005 talked to some chick named brittany made sure she sent me confirmation of the cancelation told my friend to notifi his bank about the cancelation, have to pay the shipping plus the cancelation fee for an open bottle which she said was $19 something so like $20 bucks and im done with them i also have back up files of everything from the page that i found the links up to the confermation page dont let companys screw with you!! save and print every single thing just incase you need to use it better safe than sorry good luck to anyone else who got them selves into this, its ashame this is how things work this is why people dont trust eachother.

I saw a free triall for berry blizts and I now know it’s a scam but I can’t even find the site of which I ordered it from so I don’t know how I can cancel it. So I don’t know what to do?!
I am so angry with myself or following for this.I have just recently discovered that I have lost almost £200.00 in three separate payments.I am so gutted and devastated.
I had to close my account since there was nothing that I could do.
I fell for this on 16/11, then saw this site straight after. Cancelled bank card and informed bank of situation lloydstsb. Bank told me to contact them to cancel as you have 14 days to this. They told me that if i did this then any more money taken would be able to be a “disputed transaction” under visa regulations. E-mailed them on customerservice@leanslimultra.com to cancel my account immediately and not to send any free sample. Got notification e-mail from them that they had received my e-mail which had phone no to call from UK 08081683674. (i found that 0018669425005 no didnt work). I also said in this email to them that i had cancelled my card and any attempt to get further money would be a disputed transaction under visa regulations. Got an e-mail back from them (18/11) saying my account has been closed and no more money would be taken out. I also reported them as no terms and conditions came up on actionfraud (03001232040) and to Consumer Direct (Gov service aimed at protecting consumers (08454 040506). This may be worth doing especially if you haven’t cancelled in 14 day period.

Hi everyone. I was the same as you all and fell for this stupid scam! As soon as i saw all these messages i tried to get in contact with the company but no luck. I called my bank and told them the situation and they said there wasnt much they could do but told me it was a real buisness and to contact them to terminate the contract! I tried several times calling and emailing and eventually i got through and it was cancelled , I was sent an email to confirm they wouldnt be taking any more money from my account. I to signed up for these products then saw his website!!! whata twat…went and drew the rest of my money out acount…phoned bank told they could do nothing and cancelling card would not help…then managed to get company on above phone number and they said they have cancelled it. i then phoned again to double check it had been and got same reference number so i hope that i have managed to stop myself losing money before it happens

I ordered the free trials also and was then charged £70.43 which I did not consent to. Found a number on this page which I got through to (and will probably charge me a fortune). Spoke to someone called “anne” who claimed I did not have an account which seems a bit strange when the account is there for them to take the money out. Phone number I got through to was 08081683674, not very helpful. Got an email address too: customerservice@leanslimultra.com. Currently waiting a reply to which I am not hopeful. Go straight to the bank and cancel any further payments or even just to make sure nothing else gets took off.
I too got caught out, saw the “free trial” and ordered from “lean slim ultra”. As soon as ordered i came across this site suggesting a scam so i immediatly cancelled the order within half an hour of placing the order late on a Sunday evening. I did recieve confirmation of the cancellation within a week but and was instructed to send back the “Free sample” or pay a £25 cancellation fee. three weeks later “free sample” arrived, tried to post backto the return address in USA but the post office will not return herbal medicines (banned by US food administration from importing)so i appear to be stuck with them. I have just sent an e-mail asking for a UK address to return to. My bank Santander said they could not stop any payments because i had given the details freely, they would however try and recover any money that is taken.
I also came a cropper to this, i cancelled my bank card!

I’ve cancelled my bank card this morning and Im with Satander – they’ve confirmed they should not be able to take any more money from my account other than whats already been taken (p&p)

I have also fallen victim to this scam and feel like a total fool.
I purchased these 2 products online for about £5 under the impression it was a 1 month trial. 2 weeks after ordering it i was charged £59.09 x 2 by the company.
I imediately called my bank who looked into it furthur and said that the terms and conditions state that if i did not call them to cancel a subscription within 2 weeks of ordering, i would automatically have this additonal sum of money taken out each month. As far as i was aware, this was simply a one off trial.
Before i had even realised this issue i tried to contact the company as the products were taking much longer than expected to arrive. I never once recieved a response from them.
My bank advised me to fill out a form they will send me which means any further money that lean slim would take, would be refunded by the bank. Stopping the actual card would not help the issue as once they have some detail they can still get money from a new card. The system is different to that of a Dirct debit.
I have now eventually got through to somebody at lean slim via the phone number given on the order confirmation.
I have cancelled the subscription (which i didnt even realised i was subscribed to!)and this should prevent any further charges.
Unfortunately the 2 charges of £59.09 cannot be refunded as it was all in their sneaky terms and conditions.

I too ordered free trial for month paid p&p days after recievinmg it was checking my bank account on line andf to my horror £118.48 had been taken out of my account.I contacted my bank who said there was too nothing they could do as i must of agreed in the terms and conditions.Like most people on here I wasnt aware I agreed to anything just gave my card details for p&p .The bank said i could cancle my card however there was no guarentee that would make a difference.The card i had used on line so i was supprised they could still use an expired card joke.I emailed the company awaitingan reply .Then I received ane mail welcoming me as a member i was fuming there was a conatct number on there 08081683674 I left a message after listening to the American answering service.No return call !!!!

Hi, I have been reading everyone’s comments, & my partner & myself fell victim to this acia berry scam as well, only it was 2 different company’s,, 1 was called Diet Max & the other is called Better You, and i only know this as i found the names on our credit card statement, and to our surprise there were 2 different company’s charging us for the same item & at different times of the year, 6 months apart. i couldn’t even remember the web site we went through. i know it was a free offer,next step is to cancell our visa card,

Like you all I purchsed lean slim plus the extra. I GOT MY MONEY BACK ! ! !
It was a process as i got charged $87 dollars each for 2 products. LIke all the bank could do nothing so I changed the account. I e-mailed lean slim on 3 occassions regarding the product and they said if they got returned I would get a refund. I did this and tracked the UN-OPENED products and new they had been received. They then said it had to be prosessed as to check they had not been opened. OK I had 2 – 3 more e-mails and after 4 weeks I actually phoned the customer services. They asked for verification that the products were there which I said look at your e-mails which confirm. I got my refund of $174.00 with £10 costs. With postage and costs I lost about £20.. in total but I did get the rest back.

I also purchased lean slim on what i thought was a trail then noticed scam on the internet so went to check my a/c and a futher £116 had been taken out. I only ever received my trial pack did not recieve anymore so what have i even paid for. If you have it please could you send me their customer service no as i have trouble finding it.

I too have been scammed with liposom and ultimate pro beri pills got in contact with the british mail firm that sent the pills who immediately got in touch with the american firm from florida. Surprisingly I have had an immediate response from them a phone call to say to return the goods and they will refund the money!Yippee! I have his name and phone number. Still going to cancel account but will leave it open till money returned of course taking all money out first as instructed by my bank. Will not be as stupid again will get health products from shop if needed.

I was stupid enough to full for this like many of you have!! I saw it advertised on Jodie Marsh’s twitter!! I gave them my account details for the ‘free trail’ of £3.22!!! I find finally receive my free trail-both bottles came in the same bag even though they charged we twice for P&P. I then called my credit card company up today to pay of some money and wanted to ask them to stop anymore money coming out of my account, but they said it was too late as they had already taken £58.02 on the 2nd November TWICE!!! ive since emailed the customer services dept but as yet have not herd anything back. My credit card company cancelled my card and told be i had to contack Lean slim cleanse ltd. they have then given me a fraud number to contact on monday. I cant believe i =ve been so stupid! but when a well known person advertises it-you take their word!! I dont know what to do next? Will i ever see my money?? They sell Acai berries in holland and barret-y didnt i just go there?!!

I do not know of anyone getting any refund – tell your bank to cancel your card I don’t want to upset you anymore but if they say they won’t cancel then cancel your account with them do not contact lean slim until you are sure your card or account are closed they have been known to take money as soon as they realise you are cancelling. Do you have a friend or relative who can give you some support with this if you need to change your bank account? When you contact your bank have you done it through customer services by phone or gone into the bank it might be worth going into the bank and asking them to look at this site – they can cancel you card they would if it had been stolen!!!!!!!!
Just ordered Berri ultimate and paid for P&P then read this ;/ cancelled my card immediately and then read the small print of membership being £149.95 and thereafter a monthly fee of £12.95 with each supply! I don’t believe I have been so stupid! I never normally do things like this but was so tempted by the quick weight loss
luckily though I have only paid £3.11 and card cancelled so they won’t get another penny from me!

did the same thing as you. The product will still be shipped to you. Return it, unopened or refuse delivery. If you are returning it, return it to the USA address provided on the packet (costs around £8). Ensure you get proof of posting.

I have rang my bank and instantly cancelled my card. Did u manage to get your money back? I have tried to find the company to check for contact details/ t&c’s etc but no luch as clicked on an advert originally! I havent even collected my product from the post office yet! But they havent sent out a second lot for which I have now been charged! Do you have any advice on what I could do to try and get a refund?
Hi Rachael – I was lucky they only got the P@P charge – just felt something was not quite right, contrary to what one of the Sophies posted there were NO T@Cs shown and I emailed straight away they then sent as an attachment the T@Cs which said it was a subscription and they would take money until I cancelled with them – I cancelled my card before contacting them, then I found this site and knew I had deffo been SCAMMED!!!!!!!!I emailed them cos I couldn’t get through on the phone – we are on a different time zone they never replied I eventually did get through and they said I could pay a re-stocking fee of $15 and send the product back unopened or keep them and pay $25 this was a per item charge – told them I had not got product and wouldn’t be paying anything card was cancelled so don’t even bother. Got email saying they couldn’t send any more cos my card provider had declined payment WHOOP WHOOP!!emailed straight back saying do not want any further contact with them or their product and to date have not heard anymore from them this order was placed on the 6th Sept so I hope it’s over and done with. Not had product anyway. I’m sorry but I think you will have lost what has been paid out but at least they won’t get anything else. I tried to get the web page up a few weeks ago but there is nothing of any interest so I think they have started to get the message – I’ve posted their number previously, once they know they can’t get anymore money I think they will email you and offer you a”special” deal they did me I suggest you email straight back as I did. Gave feedback to pop ups re this type of product saying they should check these companys out as they are possible financial scammers!! ads on facebook and have not had any pop up since. I ordered these products from Pro action acai and I did read the terms and conditions but thought I would try them for a week and then cancel if I was not happy. The T&C states if you cancel within 14 days and return the left over products you would not be charged anymore money than the initial P&P costs. I luckily googled them and came across this page and realised I may have been scammed. I phoned my bank and cancelled my card. I then phoned the company and was met by an automated service, once I pressed 1 to cancel a message was read out saying they would now debit my card by £75.00. Now I only initially ordered these 3 days ago and am not intending to keep them. According to the terms and conditions i should not owe them anything So Sophie if this is not a scam then what is it. I have been lucky as I then phoned my bank to verify no money would be paid out to these scammers and they informed me that as soon as I cancelled they tried to extract £75.00 which my bank declined. From cancelling my subscription with them to them attempting to extract £75.00 happened in a matter of minutes. So thank you all for these posts as you have saved me from being scammed big time.

Hi Sophie first thing id advise you to do is cancel your bank card and advise them of situation regarding this company , basically a scam.Email company then phone 0018669425005 (USA) seems to be their head office. Cancel order with them. U’llbe advised u’ll be eligible to pay for p&p and to return order unopened . SAVE all emails regarding your order. I did this two weeks ago – to date only p&p has been taken from my account. Havn’t received free trials yet nor heard from them despite email confirming cancellation. My bank also forwarded me a VISA DISPUTE FORM in event of any money being taken after my cancellation with them to enable me to claim it back. Hope this kinda helps you!

They all said they were shipping my trial order within so many days and they did not come until at least 5 weeks later. They continued to send me the e-mails even after I recieved my trial order, about 5 a week which I deleted. I just recieved another months supply at 91.91 a bottle!!! The product did not work for me. So personally do not think it is worth it. So I am going to try to cancell by phoning that number given.

I have just found this website and read through these comments. I just got off the phone with my bank and they confirmed my thoughts that, if you really want to be sure, cancel your account and get the balance transferred to a new one. Cancelling your card isn’t a sure way that these companies will not be able to take your money.
My ‘free trial’ didn’t come through for weeks either. And I’ve tried ringing the number, no answer.

Can someone give me some advice please? I stupidly just ordered these pills on the ‘free trial’ and after seeing this straight after I emailed the company but the email failed to send!!! hi I also subscribed to the aci-beri diet, although I am gutted I am also aware that I did not read the “SMALL PRINT”. this is a leson that will be taken on board for me in future. I do feel that even though legally the company which promoted and continued to forward more of their dietary supplements out, should also be held accountable for the way they market their product to the consumer. I was given the Fraud dispute teams number, who did give me good advice on how to proceed. I cancelled my card with bank – tell them it has been lost! I received new card within 5 days and none of my direct debits have been affected.
I emailed the company to keep myself right to cancel order IMMEDIATELY afterwards – do it anyhow if you haven’t already done so and keep filed cos it could bounce back.
I then telephoned 001 866 942 5005 (USA) number given by YVONNE to whom I am indebted. Cancel order with them.
I was told I would receive free trial but to send it back unopened or refuse delivery. However,p&p would be to my loss – to date haven’t received free trial nor incurred any further charges and I hope that’s the end of any dealings with them.
I also advised my bank of the scam and they sent me out a VISA DISPUTE FORM to complete should any charges be incurred to enable me to claim money back. Hope this helps in some way. GOOD LUCK!
Hopefully you won’t have to cancel your account – just your card and a new one will be issued to you with a new number -explain to your bank this is a scam – direct them to this site, do not contact the company until you have cancelled your card they take payments when they like if they know you are cancelling they might take money straight away – sorry to be the bearer of bad news but as you have looked at these posts you will understand what this company are like!

I cancelled my debit card and phoned my bank and basically I haven’t got a leg to stand on. they say is the goods were sent then there is nothing I can do. I have cancelled with proactionacia and therefore they shouldn’t debit my account for any more money. My bank have said if they do then I would be able to reclaim through the banks insurance. I’m just going to say this as a whole – NO I do not work for the company. I work in Canada in the legal field and actually read the Terms and Conditions before I ordered. I received my trial bottles, but phoned back within the 14 day trial period (AS SPECIFIED IN THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS!!!) and was able to cancel my account no problem, and no further charges. I think the majority of you didn’t read the legally binding Terms and Conditions and are now upset that you feel ripped off. Default check box may not be illegal but why was it done in the first place. If the company wanted it done properly people wouldn’t have been able to place an order without checking the box first. Sophie, I do agree that it was my stupidity for not reading the terms and conditions, but it does seem a little ridiculous how they count the ‘trial’ period from when the product gets sent out. It’s been past 14 days from when I ordered and I still haven’t seen the product. I’m wondering if the product will even be sent. Then again, I’ve accepted the fact that I signed up for this and will have to pay the price.
I’m just not sure if you really had no further charges after you cancelled. The Terms & Conditions does state:
“If you cancel and return your unopened trial bottle within the trial period, you will not incur any further charges. You are responsible for all shipping charges to return the Product to us. If you return the bottle opened, you will be charged a $15 restocking fee. If you cancel, but do not return the bottle, your credit card will be charged $25.00 for the 30-day supply.”
So you must of returned the bottle unopened and signed up for this for the joy of things. Either that or you did open it and incurred a $15 or $25 charge. I think it’s probably a good thing to know before people (like Eve) go ordering this thinking then don’t incur any more charges. Personally, I think sending the product back is considered incurring charges as it could easily cost approximately $15 with tracking (as they have requested). They might even see that a package has no tracking and claim it as lost…but now that’s just me being biased.

Most get their sample AFTER the 14 days are up. OR cannot contact anyone. OR even if they do contact someone, they are lied to and told some bs. Often given a RMA number, but no written proof, and are changed outrageous amounts until the card is cancelled.

I told them I would send them straight back at my own cost and that I did not want anything else sent to me. Now find they have taken £100 from my card. Seems to be called ProActionDiet now. I realised I paid full P & P so went back to site to look for half price codes and realised was scam. Phoned my bank 15 mins later, said amount was in process of being collected. Cancelled card and was advised they couldn’t take out any more as only £4.95 each was authorised. I have emailed “The Pro Action Team” to cancel and to forward me a confirmation email.
update: spoke to my Bank and they said no money taken yet. Then phoned number you supplied. Spoke really nice american girl who said the fake company had forwarded my email for cancellation and thats why product is being shipped.
She advised me to return product unopened and said would send email to advise of return procedure. She then cancelled my order there and then.
Feel a bit relieved but still worried and anxious!!

As long as your card is cancelled thats the main thing – is it the post and packaging charge thats come out – I think if its gone into the payment system it does get paid and they take it almost instantly – it’s the ones after that are the big ones so double check that no more can come out – I still haven’t received the product ordered on the 6th September!!I’ve not paid them anything else and have heard nothing from them since the 19th September – if I do have to pay anything they will only get it via a payment order or paypal I have no intention of paying them by card, from the posts on here I wouldn’t be too sure that they will stick to what they have told you – the email will probably ask you to send back the items plus a restocking fee of $15 per item – if you keep the product they want $25 dollars per item – my advice would be do what I have when they send the email offering you a discount to keep with them and your account has been closed email back saying you want nothing more to do with any lean slim products – good luck.

Oh my God, just found out it was a scam; after ordering. Thankfully been able to cancel my card after catching onto it right away. Went back and read small print, informed me I would be billed over £180 within 30 days, and that the illusion of the pictures should not be taken seriously; nor was the company affiliated with any of the company’s that had “recommended” them. Hope this helps anyone else who may be about to order. I know I will read the small print in the future. Considering contacting Trading Standards in the morning.
Angela, be careful. I too phoned them and cancelled. I also cancelled my credit card. I also sent them an email on 9/2; they didn’t confirm cancellation until 9/15. Turns out they processed another payment on 9/14 – and the bank, because I didn’t cancel until 9/15, reinstated the card & processed the payment. I am now negotiating to get the money back as the bank was obligated to process the payment.

I fell for this also… I ordered the free sample giving my card details for what i thought was £3.49 shipping fee. no terms and conditions came up and have recently double checked and still no terms and conditions come up. All in all the company of total body health and wellness have took £124 out of my account without any permission. After cancelling my card and having a chat with my bank’s fraud department decided i needed to get money back from company itself. Then waiting on the phone for days i got fed up, I Come from birmingham which is where there ‘head office’ is (not a head office more of a house) so tracked down the postcode given which was on one of the forms sent with the original package. Eventually got to speak to somebody there, was not intimidating or treatening although i did feel like it, the people who make up this company are dim and useless, no wonder they have to rip people off for money because there is no chance they could make a living in any other way. Have now got my money back but they freely said to me, they rarley answer the phone and dont really care if i think they are frauds, as they hve terms and conditions (THEY DONT!) Please nobody order the free sample, is not worth it. I never even recieved the next months dose (which i hadn’t asked for, but had payed for around 4 times it would see)

This is hardly a scam. I agree that the way they go about advertising this is very misleading, but it is not a “scam”. I phone Lean Slim Ultra/Lean Slim Cleanse, and was able to talk to a representative within 2 minutes of making the call. The discussion was very open, and quite frankly, the reason you feel ripped off is because none of you are READING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS which is a legally binding contract in which you understand and agree that you are subscribing for a re-occuring monthly subscription. If you are silly enough to press GO without reading the Terms and Conditions (which is, by default, checked off RIGHT by where you hit GO), then you hardly have the right to accuse the company of scamming you. And on the flip side, I have heard from many people who have tried these products that they actually work quite well. So consider yourself lucky for being able to get a cheap discount on this stuff rather than having to pay full price. And you can cancel whenever you want – but there are CONDITIONS when dealing with the trial promotions. Seriously people, read before you buy!!

The tablets that i received yesterday you could probably make yourself as they are made up of things you can buy from local herbal shop. i think its disgusting the way they seem to be getting away with this. like an idiot i fell for this. My bank say they can’t do anthing and i will have to close my account.was told even if i went through fraud department that fact that i gave my card details they will not be able to do anything. However i have managed to get hold of customer service at ‘total body wellness’ which is the company i bought the liposom from.I got the acai berry from ‘health store’.the customer service number is 0121 3459889 and i managed to get through straight away.They claim the monthly subscription was made clear..(i still can’t find where it exactly stated this and told the guy this) They have sent me confirmation of cancellations with both companies (???) but only are offerning 50% refund claiming my product is on way. not happy but not sure what else i can do. I have emails confirming the 50% refunds on both products from the ’2 different companies’ and the cancellations of future products, Can only hope this is the end of it and don’t need to close my account, will see

You’ve done the best thing cancelled your card – please if you have time read the previous posts – I think most of your worries will be answered – they may get the p&p costs but if your cc company say they have paid nothing out then hopefully they won’t even get that!
My bank arranged for the subscription to be cancelled with Leanslims bank. I had received the 3.16 and two weeks later the £58. Now my strange thing was that I never gave them my credit card, but I had ordered from another 2 herbal product companies that day and so I assume there system wasn’t working properly, because I remember just filling in my name and address and when my card wasn’t asked for, I thought “great an honest freebie!” Now of course I also wanted the initial fees back, now trying to explain to my bank I never gave them my credit card and hence wanted a refund (they said I couldn’t get one if I had of,) well this was a mission in itself. The bank clerks on the phone couldn’t comprehend I didn’t give them my card as they get this all the time with people paying just for the postage and T’s & C’s so hidden you’d never find the clause about additional frees and subscription. Eventually I demanded I was put through to Fraud and they eventually heard what I was saying, although I had to interrupt his spiel and say “please listen to me!” He did and we agreed that they probably work in the same office as the other companies and as the didn’t have my card details, they just asked for them from the other company “brand.” I’m now expecting a full refund, due to this fraud. Whilst my situation is genuine, I only gave them my name and address, I think others should claim the same, as the bank has no way of proving you wrong!
