I used to be very overweight indeed until I started to visit a nutritionist. This nutritionist told me all about the importance of eating properly to help my weight loss. I found, using his advice, that I could still eat what I wanted, but I just had to be careful about the amounts and the timing of my eating.

I love to exercise. I do something energetic at least once a day, and I get a real buzz out of it. I also get a real buzz out of knowing that I’m fit and healthy. I actually play squash with my nutritionist (although he nearly always beats me!).

During one of these squash matches I noticed him gulping down some Acai juice. Is it really as good as the reports are suggesting I asked? ‘Well yes it is’, he replied. The thing is, apparently, that Acai juice can give all the nutrients and goodness that would be gleaned from a decent meal, only it provides it with almost not calories, fat or protein as a side effect. I was convinced, and I buy a supply regularly. Definitely it has added to my diet, my fitness and my general well being.
